Overview

Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy was founded durring the early 13th century in spring of the year 1249, by Tsîbmêv Garêbê Trgënhèdo. The establishment of Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy's construction back out of the project. Tsîbmêv Garêbê Trgënhèdo pushed on reguardles, and Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy is buildings have been located at convienant points along the lake Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the broad baked earthen streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. The town's boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

A look around Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. Beneath this surface, the people of Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual.

The primary facade of its buildings often featured a series of set backs that create a stepped outline. Low-relief decorative panels can be found at entrances, around windows, along roof edges or as string courses. It was best known for its use of smooth finish building materials such as stucco, concrete block, glazed brick or mosaic tile. Decorative details can incorporate various artistic or exotic motifs to suit the building's function or the architect's whim. Chevrons, zigzags, and other geometrical motifs are common forms of ornament.

The conflict ended after roughly 182, when members of Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy's militia enacted an operation to train a group of civilians for a special clandestine operation. The operation was complicated by the army's activities draw the wrath of formerly neutral parties. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a crushing defeat for Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Yō̋y Da̋er Vǖy's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
